love that color man... i have the same color but on a short sleeve shirt i use for running... i never got why people buy dark clothes for running... we live in texas where it's hot all the time, at least where something that isn't going to give you heat stroke when you are 2 miles into your run.

The color of clothing has no real bearing on heat transfer to the body provided the clothes aren't skin tight.

I expect our helmets to look close to that...i see black making a big impact in our color scheme. Look at the football posters and magnets, green and black, look at the turf, green and black, our road b-ball uni's are now black with green...the green one's are now are 3rd b-ball jersey. So i honestly expect our helmets to look like that with the kelly green. But if im wrong that's ok cause i like the helmet in the mean joe commerical also with the white facemask.

That better be the same shade of green from the past 4 years.

One more color change and I am just going to lose it.

...holding out hope that this is just us getting the Oregon treatment and our "permanent" uni's aren't now mint green.

Can we have an alternate camo uniform using all the past different shades of green?

well, when i run, my clothes are usually pressed up against my body because i'm traveling at least 40 miles and hour... at least... does that count as skin tight?

Do we know if they'll be posting pictures of the uniform before the season or are we really to wait until game one?

Supposedly unveiled tomorrow.

Which makes this thread ridiculous.

Good: UNT Mint Chocolate Chips

Better: North Texas Mint Chocolate Chips.

Best: North Texas Mint Chico Chips

I look forward to everyone's approval of the new shade.....

I do not use the ninja smiley abusively.

From a first hand source: the helmet with the black stripes is the practice helmet. The game helmets are all green with a white facemask.

The uniforms will be very basic, but we will have a bunch of combinations to work with.

Can't wait to see it...white or black cleats? Or both ? Have you heard?

We will know soon enough, but it is my understanding that there will be no black on the uniforms. Just green and white. And as said previously, very very basic.

I hope it's more than just a plain jersey, numbering, and a swoosh.
