I thought Cam had to sit out for the 2011 season. not 2012? Or is this technically considered the 2012 season?

Looking like, size-wise, a very respectable D1 team. I think we will all continue to see good news regarding size and speed with the commitments by this coaching staff. I believe UNT will be fielding bigger, stronger and faster teams going forward...and, I think the team you will see on the field this year for UNT will be bigger, stronger and faster than last years team just do to the new coaching staff and the commitment the players are making to be much improved in 2011.

Good things are definitely happening for UNT these days...GO MEAN GREEN!

Size has been the biggest differnce I have noticed in the recruits from the Dodge era to the McCarney era. Bring on the beef and coach em up!

I thought Cam had to sit out for the 2011 season. not 2012? Or is this technically considered the 2012 season?

Cam does have to sit out this season, which is his RS Freshman year. He will have 3 years of eligibility remaining with the 2012 season begins this time next year. Boone will obviously be here as a True Frosh; though I wouldn't be surprised if Boone did not graduate early in order to go through Spring Ball and get acquainted.

It's my understanding he enrolled at NT at this mid term (2011) and he has to sit out a year before he can play. If I said anything different or if I am wrong please let me know I want to be correct please let me know anyone? OldTimer

You are correct Old Timer, Cam is enrolled at UNT and must sit out this season. He will be eligible to play in 2012 and will participate in spring training.

Yeah, this is how I see it too. I just consider this season as the 2011 season not 2012. But, i guess they say that because the national championship is in 2012.... i think.

I'm thinking like you, that we're going to play the 2011 season starting fairly soon...can you believe only another month?
