Keith had one of the most powerful legs I have ever seen in college football. He had a very tough work out program and demanded a lot of himself. I saw him hit from 72 yards out at Fouts during a practice during the spring camp of 1988. He would always warm up using a No Step approach and consistently hit from 25 yards out while doing this. His performance against tech was probably his greatest, hitting three monster kicks from beyond 48/49 yards out. I wanna say he hit from 48, 51 and 54 yards in that game? He was invited to camp by the Bills the spring after their kicker blew that kick against the Skins in the Super Bowl. But the Bills also required their kicker to have a certain hangtime on the kick offs and cut him in the first spring camp. Overall KC was one of our greatest weapons of all time.
