“He’s wanting a few more offers so he can make a really good decision,” Wells said. “A lot of people are hot on him though.”

Wells went on to say that Coleman, who ran for 1,271 yards and 15 touchdowns on only 123 carries (10.3 yards per carry), has put on about 10 pounds in the offseason, while still maintaining his speed.

My knee-jerk interpretation of that is "I'm waiting for the school I want to go to to offer me."

Amen to that. I'd pull the offer but that's just me. He should've said nothing.

His size and speed are impressive but 1,300 yards against the likes of Joaquin, Union Grove, Winona et al shouldn't make you that cocky. He's not projected to be the offensive POY or best rusher this coming year in his 2A district. There certainly are some talented players in that classification but the level of competition is not compelling enough to take a lot of notice in statistics.

agreed 100%. I am not saying I don't want anyone to wear green that has to think about it....of course they should think about it. Just don't tell everyone "thanks but I was kinda hoping someone else would dance with me".

I expect stupid comments coming directly from the kids. You would think that an adult coach would clean up the kids thought to the media. Moreover, explain to the kid that it's a free education wherever he goes and that he should consider playing time; coming out of Frankston, Texas.

This is all about the coach and how he may benefit!
