My oldest son was a 150 lb linebacker coming out of Trinity. Glad to see the Tigers produce a D1 prospect.

Was trying to decide on attending the Cedar Hill/Midlothian game or Duncanville/South Grand Prairie match-up tonight. At the very last minute, I decided to go see Mr. Dilonga's Trinity Christian Tigers against Dallas Christian @ at Baldwin Stadium (Cedar Hill)

Malik played both offensive tackle positions for the first 2-3 series before the coaching staff sent him in to play defensive end. I watched no other kids. I credited him with one assisted tackle, no sacks and no pressure during the first half I was there. Offensively, he was able to keep his smaller opponent in check. (two uncalled holds)

I will be kind and withhold my overall evaluation/thoughts. But, as so many of you like to say, "I'm sure the coaching staff sees something I don't".
