"McCarney has stated his full belief that this program can be very successful and he’s brought the Florida Gators winning attitude with him. In a blog back in early January when eight head coaching changes had already been made in the lower FBS MAC and Sun Belt conferences, I listed Dan McCarney to North Texas as the #1 coaching switch in my opinion. It might be a bit tough to get things going right away but I’ll be looking for spots to back this team in 2011."
