probably the only positive of the whole thing.

Agree...with the comment that a couple of other positives are possibilities:

1) The team rids itself of a negative attitude by one player toward honoring his commitment to his teammates and university; and

2) Some other WR is now given the opportunity to develop and demonstrate what he can do to help the team.

It's twitter, how many young people write out complete sentences on twitter??? Christ, you guys act like he's writing a term paper.

I'm not defending the guy for his actions that resulted in his release. What was so hard to understand about what he wrote???

Great excuse for the intentional dumbing down of the English language. Everyone I follow writes legibly whereas some purposely write like someone who never once stepped foot into a college classroom. There is nothing...IMO...more telling about someone than how they communicate. I will take it a step further. Instead of manning up....he chose to take an immature and childish jab at the DMAC in another tweet. UNT doesn't need Carey and good riddance.
