McDonald, who is No. 22 on The Oklahoman's Super 30 list of Oklahoma high school recruits, has offers from Wyoming, Louisiana Tech, and North Texas, with the first coming in May.

Interest has come from all state schools, along with Houston, Texas Tech and even USC.

Undersized at quarterback, he is being recruited as an athlete on both offense and defense.

I've been up in Lawton since last week to celebrate the 4th, and visit the in-laws. I've been wearing a lot of North Texas shirts around town. We need all the exposure we can get.
