“The strongest part of my game is my ability to make plays and make people miss in the open field,” McDonald said.

McDonald, who is No. 22 on The Oklahoman's Super 30 list of Oklahoma high school recruits, has offers from Wyoming, Louisiana Tech, and North Texas, with the first coming in May.

Interest has come from all state schools, along with Houston, Texas Tech and even USC.

Undersized at quarterback, he is being recruited as an athlete on both offense and defense.
