I believe those may be Spotbilts!

Both are correct, they are Spot-bilt's, and Spot-bilt was a division of Saucony.

Spot-Bilt was still selling coaching shoes until 2008, they were bought by Payless and then shut down.

I spoke with a physician yesterday whose Mom still lives in Ames Iowa. My doctor friend lives in Denton. He says every time he speaks to his Mom, she asks aboout "Coach Mac." He told me the story of her having a difficult time of loading groceries in her car at the "High-V" supermarket. It was Coach McCarney that came over to help her. She thinks he's "the best ever." And she hopes he does well at North Texas.
