Got a scoop off of a recent DRC Mean Green Blog article in the comments section that two new additions have been made to the roster. Denton Guyer tight end Austin Otto and running back Jermaine Wilhite. Neither are on the official online roster yet but based on what we are hearing I expect both of them to be in the mix this Fall. Here are some video and links on the both of them:

I might have missed it--where did you find that Austin Otto is a DE? Everything I see here shows him as a WR or TE.

At any rate, glad to have both of them aboard--they look solid!

Good catch, it must have been a Dodgian slip on my part. I've corrected it to Tight End.

Nothing but positive about this situation. Quality walk-ons fill in the recruiting gaps and are typically some of the hardest working kids in the program. Lifts the entire team.

There is no need for any local product that is a 3* recruit to leave Denton.

Maybe no need, but I've never blamed guys for wanting to get out of their hometown to make the world a little smaller.
