Ok, Im not very knowledgeable when it comes to soccer, but I guess you could call me somewhat of a fan.

I saw the last part of the USA vs mexico game tonight, and I got another reason why I don't like mexico (DID NOT SAY HISPANICS OR OTHER LATINO COMMUNITES) At the end of the game in Houston they were showing shots of the fans. And guess what they showed? Some little mexican brat holding flag of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA upside down! This is not the first time team mexico have been a-holes when it comes to soccer. A few years ago during a match they got all pissy and pulled Kobe's hair and tried to throw him to the ground. In that same match, during a confrontation, one of them kicked Alexi Lalas right square in his crotch. I know that they are not indicitave of all of mexico, but they sure are bad representatives for that country.

Makes me remember when we beat their ass in the last world cup. The look on thier faces was pure gold. One of the best kodak moments ever. They and thier fans all had this look like the world was going to end. I thought they were all going to cry. As I saw their reactions, I couldn't help but laugh and start singing (and butchering) some of those old mexican folk songs.

Time to go watch the Wild beat the Canucks.

PS - please don't flood the board with Rudy bashing. I know some of you don't like me. If you dont like the post, click the little the little button labeled "backspace" and if you really hate me so much, send me a PM.

Thats pretty obvious.

USA and Mexico have alot of bad blood between them, and it goes back a long way. Tough, nasty, dirty play has been a staple of this series for a long time, and both teams are guilty of being a little to rough.

The Tricolores beat the holy living snot out of Cobi Jones in the Japorea, but if you saw the game tonight, you saw a US defender trip, make sure he grabbed a Mexican defenders neck on the way down, and slam his head into the pitch... and that kind of stuff happens every single time these teams play,

All in all, its one of the most interesting rivalries in all of sports, and what first started me on futbol.

Its good to see the US making strides, we had more chances this game and only a post denied us the win.

Also, one of the best goalies in the world right now is an American, Brad Friedel, he currently plays for the Blckburn Rovers of the English Premeirship.

I remember Brad. He looked like a good goalie. Like I said, I didnt see the whole game. But Lalas didn't deserve a kick to his manhood. No matter what happened in the game, that little brat didn't have a reason or a right to hold our flag upside down.

<3 Men's Nat team.

sad to tie these sorry suckers after we dominated them last year and how overjoyed i was. Last world cup was great staying up until 4:30 just to catch all the games...

That is what angered me too were the mexican fans. Look, unless you were born in Mexico, don't root against the US. I don't where your parents came from, i don't care how much mexican blood you have in you, born in the US = American, so root for the freakin US! The last thing I would is root for Ireland when the play the US.

What if we don't have a "backspace" key? I guess I am just trying to figure out what we should do in that situation.
