My girlfriend saw this on twitter...I kind of don't believe my eyes, but this is awesome!

EDIT: It starts to show NT at about 54 seconds...and I still wish GMG.com would let people use all caps in the topic title for acronyms...darn OCD. :(

ya but its last year's uni's and fouts....was hoping that would be updated...maybe it will on final release

Good luck with that. When we went from the green helmets to white, they kept with green for an extra year...and that was just a uniform change. They also had WKU in a generic bowl stadium their first year in D1.

My gf told me what the name of the video game was, and I googled it to find the trailer. The best I can tell it is national, but of course I could be wrong...

I heard this is because we were the only team that would do this for free.

If that is true and whether it is national or regional, but especially if it's National then that is just pure genius by the AD. National exposure like that cant be duplicated, especially free exposure.

That's the kind of publicity I wouldn't mind paying for if it's the national preview and not just a local one.

somebody in the development team went to North Texas, as he has given instruction videos about the game before and used North Texas as his team to demonstrate with:

Wow. Looks like they finally incorporated Scrappy into the game (see end of video.)

Andrew Johnson and Eric Gray, two of the original Green Guys work for EA. Andrew's not in development, but rather in video production. He puts together a lot of the demo videos you see...so being a North Texas grad he tries to give the Mean Green all the pub he can.

The new stadium will not be in the final version of this year's game. I was devistated by this news...but Drew said the developers need to get a full compliment of media (pictures and video) of the stadium on gameday in order to build an accurate model that they won't have to change a bunch next year. (My counter was that if say, Georgia got a new football stadium they would have a model of it the first year.)

By the way, he's told me that the developers are very excited about this year's version of NCAA.

Happy gaming!

It would be great if Andrew and/or Eric could influence them to get the UNT fight song integrated.

Yes! Former Green Guys need to make this happen.

The trailer looks great! I hope they make another for next season and it has the new stadium, and uniforms.

It is time for me to upgrade. I've been playing the PS2 for too long now. Should I go with the PS3 or the X Box 360?

Don't the current games allow the PS3/XBOX systems to upload the fight song into the game?

You'd think. At least on the Xbox 360, you can connect to a media server on your network and incorporate your own music from there, but you can't use media uploaded to the game console. Kinda screwy.

I don't know about the PS3.

PS3 you don't have to pay for online and it has a Bluray player. 360 didn't lose online for an entire month and it has ESPN3. I have both.

Can you get ESPN3 on the PS3? Do you have to pay for ESPN3 on the X Box? How does that work? Thanks for the help.
