My favorite quote......

"We don't want the West to go and find alternatives, because, clearly, the higher the price of oil goes, the more they have incentives to go and find alternatives," said Talal, who is listed by Forbes as the 26th richest man in the world.

Damn, what's next? The head of Haliburton and/or Blackwater admitting that if America experiences peace with the middle east in the near future, then that will be bad for most of what's become America's most profitable businesses?

That doesn't sicken me nearly as much as this:

Just over a month ago, President Obama traveled to Brazil, to herald a strategic oil deal. We taxpayers are loaning Brazil $2 billion plus, to drill for offshore oil, when Obama won't allow offshore drilling here. That is the ultimate in hypocrisy, when our nation is in dire economic straits and we're paying close to $5 per gallon of gas.

You and I are going to finance oil exploration in Brazil, after we borrow money, from Communist China, to loan Brazil. Obama said to the people of Brazil, “We want to help you with technology and develop these oil reserves safely, and when you're ready to start selling, we want to be one of your best customers.” What's up with that America? We're getting ripped off.

Just to be clear we allow drilling offshore. Also Brazil has a strong economy and is a credit worthy debtor. so what are the terms on this loan?

I think in the end it will be more of a gift than a loan...

Last week we let Egypt off the hook for $1 billion.
