Don't know how accurate this still is but per Juco Junction there are still several unsigned frontcourt players. We know that #1 is a super-talented head case but if Okie State hasn't made a deal with him he could be an excellent choice.

There are a couple of other Texas players...the one from Lon Morris is the next highest rated as I recaLL.

#1 6-8 230 lb Karron Johnson is totally free of any commitment to OSU. The superbly talented power forward has supposedly been hampered by having an adviser/mentor that meddles in his business, and the result has been that he changes schools more often than North Texas changes branding.

#69 6-11 350 lb Melvyn Oliver is available and probably out busy putting some pizza buffet out of business. We won't need huge offensive production from the center, but this 'Green Mile' monster could certainly neutralize an opponents inside game. With a lot of dieting and fitness work, which is something for which he reportedly hasn't shown willingness, this guy could be incredible.

Both guys could become outstanding players, even NBA level, but both could be total busts that never contribute.

And both would be better than just grabbing some guy from the rec league (not named Tony Mitchell) to fill out the roster.

I want God's Gift Achiuwa for PA announcement purposes only. I don't care if he's any good.

Karron Johnson ends up at DII Shaw University. He talent wasn't worth the risk for any DI program
