I'm interested to see where people are picking their seats and why. In particular the upper versus lower bowl. Let us know your experience and where you end up. Exciting days for Mean Green Fans!

I just picked Section 105, Row 13, Seats 5 and 6. I like being in the lower bowl, a little closer to the action. But I want to be high enough not to be staring at the back of jerseys. When I picked at 10:45 this morning, 5-6 were among the few left on that row. I am hoping I don't have a group that stands the entire game in front of me, but if I do I can adapt. It just means I will not be getting the girl friend to many games. I have no problem standing for every third down or goal line play, but if I wanted to be an Aggie I would have gone there!

The walls will be high enough that nobody will be staring at the back of jerseys. The front rows will be on top of the action rather than level with it.

I picked 2 club level seats two weeks ago, and 4 upper bowl this morning. The snacks/drinks this morning were lighter with no beer, etc., but the overall experience was still excellent.

Section 207, row 25, seats 1-4. I chose the upper bowl because I wanted to be sure to see all corners of the field, plus the last 5 rows in the upper bowl will be sheltered by the overhang of the club seats. We will be just in front of the tv camera platform, right on the 50 yard line.

I am very pleased with the process, and commend the staff for the effort they are putting into this.

Great experience during seat selection today, although it can be a little stressful. The aisle seats on boths sides of the 50yd line (sections 206 and 207) are filling up pretty quick. They are my parents seats, so I was just along as a consultant, but we ended up a few rows up on the wingzone side of section 207.

Had a very nice time at seat selection early this afternoon. At the time I was there, the top row (13) of the section 105 was all taken, and the aisles of that section were filling quickly. I chose section 106, row 13, seats 3-6. All in all a quick and pleasant experience.

I am going tomorrow to reserve 3 seats. I didn't expect that I would be able to get into section 105 by then (my points are only in the low 300's). But, I hope that I can get into sections 104 or 106 (rows 7-13), closest to section 105. How do section's 104 and 106 look at this point ? Thanks.

I wish that they had a way of updating the seat map online, at least on a daily basis.

Section 206 row 25, Ed Wittemore and I have the 4 seats on the center aisle.

We like sitting high to be able to see how the play unfolds even on the other side of the field. Row 25 is under the overhang. I suppose that could be some advantage.

Did it by phone. Easy.

My husband surprised me with club seats! I had absolutely no idea! He's off the hook for birthday presents for the next 20 years! laugh.gif CL08, seats 13 and 14, row 5. We also have four lower bowl seats (if it's not too hot or raining, I like to be close) sec 105, row 11 and row 12, seats 1 and 2 on each row. I am in football heaven and can hardly wait for Sept. 10!!!!

Excellent experience! Checked in at the front desk, got checked off on the schedule, and was sent down the hallway to the holding pen. The holding pen had tables and chairs, cold soft drinks, some snacks and maps of the stadium with seats that had been claimed blacked out. I got there a half hour early, relaxed with a Coke Zero, then studied the maps and made some notes. At my appointed time, Kendra escorted me to three rooms. First, I made my seat selection ( SEC 207, ROW 4, Seats 5 thru 8 ). The next room was parking ( Victory Hall ). The last room was seatbacks and final check. You will like the seatbacks this year, they are molded, one piece with generous booty room, and comfortable. They are not padded, so if you are prone to TB bring a little cushion. If you stand regularly, like Fight Song, Alma Mater, critical third downs, etc. you probably will be good for the game without a cushion.

I'm above the walkway to be high enough to see that fade route in the corner of the opposite end zone and, hopefully, close plays on the near sideline. The above seat address is approximately the 45 yard stripe on the wingzone side.

Further Affiant sayeth not.

Got stuck in jury duty (WTF? Me?) so I couldn't get to Denton. Called and received a return phone call from Cooper Jones almost immediately. Selected 105, row 7, seats 1-3. Whole rows low in section 105 were still available. I was told most were choosing to sit in the second deck. Those brave enough to come join us in the rowdy zone, come on down!

I can confirm that most of SEC 105 was open in the first five rows or so. Only the top rows were filling up. I was tempted but after seeing the spring game in Denton's stadium that was similar, I thought that section below the walkway was too close to get good perspective on the field. JMO.

Zeke was there and picked about ten minutes before I did. I didn't say "Hi" because he was really busy sending text messages...probably to you! :D

The aisle seats in 105 were taken about 5 rows down or so...they were middle seats available after the first couple rows...I'm sure a lot of people don't care about the aisles though.

To put it in perspective, I was told that the front row is 9 feet above the playing surface.

That's all fine and good until we sign a couple of 9 foot recruits.

I have 15 and 16 row 4 so looks as if we will be neighbors. I also know who has 15 and 16 on row 5, and he's a great knowledgable fan that you will like.

Well, I think my bride and I are right there with you guys. I am in CL08 and on the top row of the section about middle way in the row. Sounds like that will be right there with you guys. Sounds like a party to me!
