Pretty rare, but he has the bloodline.

Gonzaga starting point guard Demetri Goodson has decided to transfer in order to play football, the school announced Tuesday.
The 6-foot, 175-pound junior would have two years of football eligiblity remaining, according to Gonzaga, which does not offer football. Goodson is the brother of Carolina Panthersrunning back Mike Goodson, who played at Texas A&M.

per his Rivals football profile, he had football offers from OU, A&M and TTech.

What an athlete. I only did a little digging, but could not find any mention about what position he played in high school..
