If the NCAA would enforce the 15,000 attendance requirement FBS would clear out quite a bit.

Yes. What we have is the big 6 conference, AQ teams, then the rest of us. Nothing more than D1A and D1.5A(non-AQ teams). Getting very watered down IMHO.

With the other rumor about the Sun Belt wanting to add an 11th team, is there a team from that MAC that could jump ship to the Belt? i don't really see anyone the aligns geographically but who knows? I feel like if that the Sun Belt gets an 11th team, they should really look at getting a 12th to get a conference championship game. Maybe LaTech and NMSU will realize their conference is quickly becoming a joke and will decide the join the Sun Belt, making a more formidable conference.

Teams that have descent attendants and followings in the 1aa will be getting a shot at the big time. Teams like Nevada who are struggling with money might fall to a lower conf in the next coming years.

Umm...I'm pretty sure the MAC would have the same complaint about the Sunbelt.

In fact, I bet if you asked most college football fans, they would guess UMASS to be 1-A and North Texas 1-AA.
