For those who are into hockey, The playoffs start Wednesday evening, the first round pairings are:

Eastern Conference:

1. Washington Capitals vs 8. New York Rangers

2. Philadelphia Flyers vs 7. Buffalo Sabres

3. Boston Bruins vs 6. Montreal Canadians

4. Pittsburgh Penguins vs 5. Tampa Bay Lightning

Western Conference

1. Vancouver Canucks vs 8. Chicago Blackhawks

2. San Jose Sharks vs 7. Los Angels Kings

3. Detroit Red Wings vs 6. Phoenix Coyotes

4. Anaheim Ducks vs 5. Nashville Predators

Who do you think will come out of the first round?

I say the Capitals, Flyers, Bruins, Lightning, Blackhawks, Kings, Red Wings, and Predators make it to round 2.

I'm a 'Hawks fan myself, but the Canuckleheads will come out looking for blood. However, the Hawks have done a good job getting in their heads, so if they can win one of the first two, I say the Hawks win.

I don't think anybody beats Anaheim in the first round, the way they've been playing.

I'm rooting for a TB and Vancouver final. Would be some good skating hockey. San Jose would make for a great series too, but I hate them just slightly less than the Wings.
