with a new coaching staff, renewed interest, and some positives coming out of spring ball, there may be a decent amount there...and tailgating/beer drinking is allowable!!!

When Dodge first took over, we had 5194 at the spring game. I don't think it will be that high, but if the weather is good, under 4000 would be a major disappointment.

I'm going to predict major disappointment for you, my friend.

As excited as everyone is about coach Mac, he hasn't really had enough time to make an impact that would be noticeable in a scrimmage so I don't know that there's enough to attract a big crowd. Now, if they were unveiling new uniforms/helmets or something...that would do it.

We'll be there (2). Is it bench seating at the hs stadium? If so will need to bring my chairback.

GMG!

GMG!

Most of the seating is bench. There are pretty nice chairbacks (probably 750-1000) on the west side 50 yard line section.

I believe we will have a very good turnout...3,500+...I'll be there. I cannot imagine, there being under 3500 with all the excitement of the stadium and the new coaching staff and all the community work the staff is doing these days. I guess we will all see, but I am very hopeful for a good crowd and think there is ample reason to be hopeful.

GO MEAN GREEN!

So am I, but the pragmatist in me says that we need to start with the basics...where and when.

OK folks! The scrimmage is ONE o'clock THIS SATURDAY. And here is where it is taking place.

I'll be there with Eaglette.

I expect to see 3,700 of my closest friends.

For those of you that have never been to a game at CH Collins (probably very few if you have lived in Denton for the past 7 years), you will be in for a nice treat. I've always loved the atmosphere this place has to offer and every seat has a great view. I would not have been ashamed if the university had asked for Denton ISD's permission to add 3K seats and start using this place for our games back in 2004. So what if we would have been the only division 1 team to use a high school field (someone should look into that, didn't check my facts - just seemed right)... that place is a monumental improvement over fouts.
