Hadn't seen this posted. Easy to see why Coach Mac is so well liked. Love his comments about the improvement and love the shots with the new stadium in the background.

It's working now. I love the subtle jabs about needing improvement, not one to pull punches. I like this coach as much as you can like a coach who you've not seen coach a down of real game football.

I made a comment in a thread a couple of weeks ago that Coach Mac seems to repeat himself a lot. Now that he is getting to know his team, I don't think that's the case.

Just a couple of noteworthy quotes:

"A confused player can't be an aggressive player."

"I think we're one of the most improved teams I've been around in that short period of time. We need to, God knows we need to be one of the most improved teams that's around in college football."

Great interview. The feeling I get is that he cares about the outcome and knows how to get to that outcome. TD seemed to care about the outcome, but didn't know how to get to it. DD felt like he stopped caring even though he kinda knew how to get there.

September 10th is gonna be a hell of a day.
