What is the point of this post? Neither one of these will play a down at North Texas, so I'm not even sure why this is posted here.

Also, what do youi mean be "hoping Thompson is the answer, if Osborn doesn't come through?". Seems to me Thompson held the advantage coming in to spring based upon his experience in Chico's system and has done nothing the lose that advantage. I would be happy with either, because they will be better than Hall or the other player listed in your UTEP article.

I've learned that if there is even a glimpse of Mean Green connection, there will be someone around here curious enough to follow it.

We did and he committed, then de-committed and headed to El Paso. I wish him well, but don't really care to read about him unless we play them in the future.

I am pleased with who we have and believe Thompson or Osborn will do just fine for the next three years.

Neither of those players will ever wear green so why does this concern us? Hall bailed and Meger was never a part so neither has any significance with our quarterback situation. I agree that we are in better hands as far as I'm concerned and the post has nothing to do with Mean Green Football.
