I wouldn't count ESPN3 as a game on ESPN. It's only shown online, not television. I would only count games on ESPN, ESPN2, and ESPNU.

Hey, we'll be able to see the game! For an away game that is always a plus. I have to jump through a hoop or two, but I can get it on my TV. No, ESPN3 is not a real "broadcast" channel but it beats being blacked out altogether!

I am just curious why we are playing on a Thursday night - for internet? Does that make sense to anyone?

I wouldn't count ESPN3 as a game on ESPN. It's only shown online, not television. I would only count games on ESPN, ESPN2, and ESPNU.

Still 3 1/2 games with an outside audience is nice.

Maybe channel 21 picks this up, or ESPN decides to add it to the TV schedule down the line.

No real downside to the opening game being on Thursday. Maybe FIU thinks student attendance will be better.

I think every game that is on espn3 in available on espn+. There should be viewing options outside of espn3 , I'm sure pourhouse,bww & fox & hound will be able to purchase

Nothing has been determined for the Indiana game, however I would not be surprised if the BigTen network ends up covering the game.
