When will they be scheduling appointments for the Fouts Field Parking Lot section?

At around 5PM on Saturday September 10th when the traffic is at a stand still on Bonnie Brae trying to get into the new stadium.

Here's what I understand.

April 1, Mean Green Points are frozen for purposes of seat selection.

April 18, appointment times are sent out via certified mail.

Here's where I run into questions...

How can I plan for my 10 minute window of selection time May 9 ? Will I be asked to come in in the morning, noon afternoon, or evening ? Do I need to make the whole day available ?

Also, the "seat selection site" mentioned in the brochure-Where is that ? It also says a "development officer will escort the donor to the selection room." We have a development room ? I suddenly have a "Soylent Green" flashback.

Finally, I'm concerned about sitting on the front row. How high will the railing be ? Do I have to stretch to see over it or sit low in my seat to see under it.

All this, and the University is doing away with Homecoming King and Queen. AHHHH

This is my big concern as well. I have battled the obtrusive front-row railing before. It makes for a miserable experience watching any event.

I would like to see this addressed BEFORE I get my few minutes with the "development officer".

I hear there is excellent parking in the neighborhood adjacent to the stadium. Just park in the streets or peoples' driveways if needed and walk to the game.

If you tip them an extra fiver, you can have your car washed and the tires armor alled.

you are allowed to walk through the stadium seats 30 mins before your scheduled time, that way you will be able to check everything out...shouldn't be an issue...unless the railing isn't up yet.

I thought that myself as well. So I called the Ticket office. The very nice lady that I spoke with told me that seats wouold be chosen through the magic of the virtual stadium seating, since, as she said, the stadium seats would not yet be installed.

30 or so years ago, when I bought my Coliseum seats, I chose the second row so I wouldn't have to deal this the rail issue.

Not terribly concerned if the seats are installed or not, but are they going to make us pick our seats without actually walking around inside the stadium first? The virtual thing is great, but it's not the real thing.

Tomorrow's the last day to get your MGC donations in before the points are locked. Like the slacker I am, I waited until today because I thought it was the cut-off. Had I known tomorrow was the deadline, I would've put it off...

I just got off the phone finalizing my MGC renewal. I'm going to have to send a designated rep to help me with my seat selection, I'll be 1200 miles away, but minor details... We get to pick new seats, hot damn it's exciting. I did ask if I'm not happy with my seats, can I upgrade my donation level and upgrade to a better section, if seats where available, response I received was any time.

They will usually accept more money if you are willing to give it.

Now you are sure to get lousy seats.

If I can see over the players helmets I would take the front row.

In the Seat Selection Process brochure it says "On April 18th Seat Selection appointment times will be sent via certified mail to Suite/Club seat holders, Mean Green Club donors and season ticket holders who are not Mean Green Club donors."
