Usually these types of rulings just take away the wins from the other team but they do not award a win to the losing team (they do take away the loss though). So instead of being 2-10, he might end up 2-9. It's like the game never happened.

The article does say "forfeit" as opposed to "vacating wins." If they said what they mean and mean what they say, whichever games they apply the forfeits to should show up as wins for the other team.

The school offered to forfeit six football wins from the 2006 season, four from 2005, 15 men's basketball wins from the 2006-07 season, 12 basketball wins from 2005-06, three baseball wins from the 2006-07 season and five women's soccer wins during the 2005-06 season.

No 2007-2010 football wins mentioned, so no effect unless you want to beef up the final record of Dickey.

      It was a huge issue in the NBA for a bit so they came out and said an offensive player swinging their arms before a shot is not part of a natural shooting motion and therefore should not be considered a shooting foul.       No one knows the specifics of the deal, it's not public knowledge. People are waiting for this year's tax returns so they can see the public data that shows how much each school made, and then see how much it changes over the next few years. So unfortunately all we know is that by the end of the contract everyone will be making the same amount, and that's it.

      Sissoko has just been a different player in conference and I'm here for it. Lorient of course was MVP, but Massie and Floyd need some props for coming through this game. We really need for them to give us 6-8 points a game consistently and we are going to be looking good. Horrible foul call on Walker on that 3. Also they need to change the rules where you can't move your arm into a defenders hands that are already there to create contact for a foul, that's absurd. You can't even stand there as a defender? It needs to end.

      I don’t want to be that guy, but we have a good crowd for a great game and our defense was pretty much amazing all night. How do you sit in your hands and not get into the game? My wife and dogs thought I was crazy watching at home cheering on the good guys. I just don’t get it. The Pit should have been rocking. Students looked great, @greenjoe and I believe @Matt from A700 from shown a few times up and active along with others, but overall our crowd had got to get loud. I was never a fan of how NBA announcers cue the crowds but we may need to get Rob Coffee to start some “D-Fense” chants.
