Link? I looked on the DMN website and didn't see anything. Just curious, as I would love to read this article.

NIT? SMU's dreaming.

CIT? Sure, buy your way in, but you are one and done.

Maybe we should get in too if they let us play SMU!

In all seriousness they would cause some matchup problems. In particular, Dia and Nyakundi would give our bigs a workout and they "run" a slow Princeton style offense that has given us some problems in the past (not counting the last Denver game of course). They do not even really try for offensive rebounds in order to get as many back on defense as possible so our offense would have to play half court a lot. I think we still win and even if it was at SMU we would still have a bigger cheering section!

FYI... SMU is hosting a CIT game Wednesday. They are facing Oral Roberts.

That can be an intriguing matchup: OR beat UALR by 26 points this season.

They split the season series , UALR beat ORU on the road later on in the season

How can they go to the NIT in light of SMU's self imposed probation? If they go to the NIT they'll be making a mockery of the concept of "self imposed probation"!!!! :notfair::growl::notfair:

The real mockery is the NCAA... And the way they dole out punishment. See Ohio st.
