FOX Sports Southwest continues its UIL state basketball tournament coverage this week with live telecasts and webcasts from the boys tournament at the Erwin Center in Austin.

Class 5A, 4A, 3A and 1A Division II semifinal games and the 3A title game will be webcast live on FoxSportsSouthwest.com. FOX Sports Southwest will carry the 5A, 4A, 2A and 1A championships. Some of those games will be distributed on FOX Sports Southwest Plus due to programming conflicts on FOX Sports Southwest. Jeff Power, Lincoln Rose and Craig Way (based on his availability) will share the play-by-play duties with Neal Raphael and former Baylor coach Jim Haller splitting the analyst roles.

Coppell High School boys basketball coach Brad Chasteen, who won his 500th career game earlier this season, will join Ric Renner in studio on Saturday to analyze the days championship games.

Kimball 50 Cedar Park 36

Jalen Jones led Kimball with 19 points. I think Jordan Williams was the leading Kimball rebounder but he did not shoot much.

Not to knock a team as successful as Kimball, but with a front court going 6'6, 6'6 and 6'9, their offense seems to be take the first outside shoot available.

all 3 of those guys are wings on the next level, not back to the basket kids. It's no surprise they are trying to face, despite being the tallest kids on the team

Very few really good low post players in the NBA anymore. Matbe not a good move for a 6'6" kid, but anyone 6'9" or more that could come to college with a low post game already developed beyond high school, and continued that development with a couple of years in college, would be far more valuable to the NBA than another 6'9" small forward with an average outside shot by NBA standards.

Just sayin...
