Whether we recruit them out of high school or get them in the portal, the risk of a QB leaving after a strong season in Denton is the same.
At some point if our transferred-out quarterbacks keep being roster depth riding the bench, maybe a 3,000-yard passer under Eric Morris will be more reluctant to leave.
They threw that ruling out. It is only for players who played Juco ball, and are exhausting their final year of eligibility THIS year. Essentially gaining 1 extra year to play. I think NCAA realized what a S*$* show they would have caused by allowing the previous ruling to remain.
As for now, yes. How you like that for an answer? LOL
I believe the NCAA realized how even bigger S*$$ show the juco not counting towards eligibility was and back tracked real quick. I could see someone next year doing the same thing and suing saying they allowed last year, why not this year type of deal. But for now, One additional year so long as they're currently on their last year of eligibility playing wise.
