Well, if you don't reach for a star then you won't get one. Dude at least lists us with medium interest along with Florida, Notre Dame, Southern Cal and six others.

From a review of USF's 7-on-7 camp last weekend:

A 7-on-7 event is a tough place for a linebacker to really shine, as most of the action is down the field or to the sidelines, but McCord, who has effectively bulked up more than 10 pounds since his junior season, had a good weekend. McCord, who could be an outside linebacker or defensive end at the next level, exhibited good athleticism whether it was moving laterally with a back or vertically to play centerfield. He has excellent athleticism in the open field and covers a ton of space quickly while also utilizing his long arms to break up passes.

Keep in mind Coach Dan spent the past 4 yrs in Florida, so he may have some in roads already built with a lot of these recruits.
