One observation from the TNT coverage... Charles Barkley is one of the biggest morons ever. This guy strains just to get a complete sentence out. Is it REALLY that tough for them to find an ex-player that can string together 5 or 6 words in a row?

Great game though, a little too close for my taste but a lot more fun than a blow out. I don't buy the crap about how counting that last 3 pointer incorrectly by Nash was a deciding factor. If you have to rely on last second antics than you lose the game 9 times out of 10.

If Bonzi Wells can score 40 + and the Mavs still win, I think they will be OK in this series. Even if Nash's shot was made a two, Wells still missed the big free throw right after the dumb foul by Nash. If the Blazers cling to that excuse, they are dead meat because they will be reaching for anything to hold on to and it will be obvious.

Now we can watch Minnesota and LA and hope KG can pull it off or at least step on Shaq's big toe really hard.

Dallas was 2-0 on the night. The Rangers and John Thompson beat Tim Wakefield and the Bo Sox 6-1.

Get this...the actually game ended at 11:15 or so, and started at 7:05ish. BUT, the official game time was 2:38 due to a 1:24 rain delay.
