Understandable, but there is one glaring difference between UNT and Tt right now and his name is Tony Mitchell. I think it would take an offer from LSU to pull Johnny away from UNT right now.

Sounds like Billy Gillispie is the leader in the clubhouse for that job. He drunk himself out of a job at Kentucky, along with the fact that his harsh coaching didn't play with Kentucky's prima donnas. However, when he coached at UTEP and A&M, his records were outstanding. Tech would definitely be a great landing place for him if they take him. He certainly will be following the right Knight out there!!

I just can't see Johnny going to Lubbock....remember it is not just about the conference he might coach in, the emotional attachment (i.e. LSU), and the money. Knowing his wife, I doubt she would want to take their young children to West Texas. I bet she does have a say in all of this!
