If we win tomorrow, we can chock up another record setting performance on top of our already record setting performances by Triston.

who will become the tourney all-time point scorer in a single tourney!

If I heard this right earlier, the announcers said that no team in the history of SBC tourney has won 4 games in a row to win the conference tourny championship. If we win tomorrow, we can chock up another record setting performance on top of our already record setting performances by Triston.

If they mean in consecutive days, then that's not exactly a long term stat. This is only the 2nd year it's even been a possibility. In 2007 we did win 4 in a row, but that's when the opening round was on campus if you didn't have a bye into the quarters.

I think the stat is that only 17 teams in the history of the NCAA tournament have won four conference tournament games to enter.

They also said that it hadn't ever been done in the Sunbelt. They never said anything about consecutive days, they just said no team in the Sunbelt had ever won 4 games to win the tournament

Which isn't true. We did it in 2007.

Ok, I swear I've watched or listened to every game this year, but I have no memory of Egenti. Did we just pick up some guys off the street for this game?

Been on team the whole year and even played mop up minutes at the SuperPit.

Not quite the whole year... Egenti came on board from Northlake as a walk-on last year. He wasn't eligible in fall, that's why he never sat on the bench and he isn't in the team picture from the SBC Media Guide. But he got eligible at semester break.

Everyone in the house that was wearing green was very happy for him to get his minute (literally) of glory.
