Ummm...Ben?

He did consult with JJ, so maybe your beef is with him.

Also, Ben Bell was a 2 year JUCO. Vito did say it was tough to balance contributions of guys who were here for varying lengths of time.

Surely CBL was talking about Ben Knox... :P

It's ok Ben, we'll make sure you don't get snubbed for the 2010-2020 all-decade team.

Good memories.

I came to UNT in 1999. Chris Davis was a joy to watch. I can't think of many players that were as fluid in the half court as him. Really hard to describe, except that he made everything look so easy.

Only problem with team in my view is that Chris Davis is obviously the MVP of the decade. Only knock is he did not ever play on even a descent team. I am a big White fan but IMO there is no comparison. Davis was all Belt first team twice both on Jones' teams. White though often playing with injuires has never been above second team all conference his freshman year. An obvious counter is that White has all the intangibles, but I would parry that with so did Davis. Davis was the best player from the Trilli era and unlike most of the others chose to stay at NT. Davis was a better player on both ends of the court.

Chris was not recruited by Jones but he was the best player that ever played for him at NT. Vito IMO has a tendency to discount things pre-Vito. How do you state that Chris was arguably the best player ever at NT than pick White as the most valuable? By the way, Chris was not the best player ever at NT either. IMO that would be ether Joe Hamilton or Kenneth Lyons. People with even longer memories will throw out Mudd and Savage.

1. I beg to differ. Those Trilli teams were in a descent mode pretty much at all times.

2. How big a boy are you and why the racial qualifier?
