The softball team beat Northwestern State 5-1 and Centenary 11-2 today. They also beat Tennessee Tech last night 5-4. Their record is now back to 5-5 with the losses coming to (score in parentheses):

#14 Oregon (12-4)

#19 Stanford (5-2)

#21 Nebraska (4-2)

Oregon State (3-2)

Northwestern (8-4)

Those may have all been losses, but most were respectable. Our pitching is young right now (with the top 3 pitchers in innings being 1 sophomore and 2 freshmen), so hopefully they can settle in and do really well in the SBC. Louisiana-Lafayette is currently ranked #16, so it will not be easy.
