Gotta pull like hell for the Hilltoppers. Would also be nice if Troy could take care of ASU for us - but this is by far ULL's toughest game on paper.

Troy beating ASU, and WKU beating ULL would really help a lot. Those results are very important to our chances of winning the division, or having ANY room for error at all the rest of the year.

MTSU and UALR is an interesting one. At first glance I would hope for another UALR loss, but there could be some unfavorable (for us) seeding implications in the east if MTSU picks up another loss. It is hard to know that for sure though, because we aren't sure yet which seed we will be going in with from the west.

FAU and FIU really doesn't matter at all unless you really want the FAU fans to snap out of their delusions of grandeur. I think I am going to root for FAU here, because FIU can be a very dangerous team come tourney time if they get some confidence.

In the past 5 weeks, Troy has home wins against WKU, us, Middle Tennessee, and Denver.

Meanwhile, all 5 of ASU's conference losses have come on the road. Their only road win that didn't come against ULM was in Little Rock, Arkansas. ASU lost on the road to a godawful Savannah State team about 2 weeks ago.

If any of you are sports gamblers... It might be worth looking at the line in this game and making an appropriate wager.

If the tourney started today, we would have a 1st round matchup with Troy, and Denver would be waiting in the quarterfinal.

EDIT: For those interested, the women would have a first round matchup with FIU (who they beat 76-69 here in Denton), with Denver waiting in the quarterfinal.
