News On Alonzo

I saw in the DRC that he may need some major surgery and has missed a lot of practice. Where do we go form here with this guy? Do we renew his scholarship? What happens without him or spencer next year? We need size, but even if we get Jarion Henry we still need some muscle down low. Do we not go after spencers red shirt and not bring back alonzo? Just a thought while we all wait for tonight's game.

I really like Alonzo. I am hoping he is ready to go for next year if he isn't coming back for the rest of this year.

Wish I had seen something to like since way back when he was in high school. Hope he gets healthy one way or another.

I don't really have an opinion on the roster situation for next year, but you can add him to the list of players JJ was somewhat counting on playing some minutes this year.

Cam Spencer

Alonzo Edwards

Alzee Williams

Collin Mangrum

Considering all of this and not having a true option for losing Tramiel; what the team was able accomplish in the 1st half of the season is impressive. I know things haven't worked out much since then and excuses suck, but looking at that list can be a big factor this late in the season.
