My nephew and godson just made state in wrestling. He's been a football player forever. Sparkplug of a body this kid had. He could have started center as a sophomore for his Arlington 5A HS, but told his Dad he was tired of carrying all that weight. The new coach sought him out and damn near begged him to rethink his decision. He stuck with wrestling, actually dropped a ton of weight, looks healthy, feels great, and is excelling in his new sport.

Secretly, I wanted to see him snapping the ball and protecting our first Heisman candidate in Denton, but after seeing how he's flourished I couldnt be happier

Unfortunately if he wants a wrestling scholarship he's gonna have to go out of state.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know...he's a quitter. And I couldn't be prouder!!!!!!!
