By the way how is shavod playing. he is from my hometown and was excited to see him go to UNT.

That says he committed in early December. Did they ever update it to say he committed here?

You are looking at the visit date and it did show him as a UNT committ

Hope Brooks sticks. He's a greater need than Hunt, although I hate to lose him if true.

I think Brooks is firm. He's not as developed as Hunt. Brooks may need a year or two to really help us and not just plug a hole.

This is the reality of the perception of our program rearing it's ugly head. Also the result of not having a full yr or even two to really make in-roads and win over the hearts and minds of prospective student athletes.

Sucks right now, but this shit will stop soon enough.

Exactly wrong. We just lost a guy who had originally verballed to Wake Forest....so at one point, Wake Forest lost him to UNT. Imagine the horror. It happens...and the more we go after recruits with options, the more flip-flopping we're going to see.

The only thing that matters where these guys end up in August.

I beg to differ. I think once our staff has a chance to actually lay the foundations of a relationship and win kids over, in the course of a yr, and not a couple months, that we'll see less and less of this.

Hunt switched back for whatever reasons, but the perception of the program from those outside of it, are not good, and among other things, that played a roll.

Win football games, lay the groundwork for recruiting in the Spring and I guarantee you we'll see more solid commits and won't rely on stealing recruits from other schools. We'll be there #1.

And again, losing recruits to AQ schools only proves that our staff is focused on quality recruits.

Just a difference in perspective and optimism.
