Pretty shocked Stouffer has fallen to the Southland Conference's own Central Arkansas, although untbowler can now provide career updates for us. Hopefully something big is brewing. OL is not a pressing need, but I would love to see us land around three a class to keep our depth.

3 a class, on both sides of the ball... That has to be our mantra. Very interested to see how this all oans out in the next 6 days or so...

The only downside I noticed about Stouffer is that the listed 40 time, 5.5 I think, per Rivals, may just not be what the new coaching staff finds acceptable. And that's not to say he won't find the right place for him; Central Arkansas has had some D linemen go to the NFL in recent years. One thing about any college level offensive line is that it's not unusual to find some pretty big guys on any of them, even down to the D3 level; the difference from D1 down to the lower levels is typically speed more than size. As this staff has shown with getting the DT Terell Brooks to commit earlier this week, there are still good D1 level players out there, even with the hard to fill positions like DT. This staff appears to have a plan, which requires a certain athleticism, and is executing it.

From the outside looking in, it definately seems like there's a plan in place and everyone's working towards said plan. This isn't just some random collection of best we could find on short notice. This is filling holes, changing minds and perceptions and building our program, recruit by recruit, need by need, with the types of players we want. Absolutely agree. If JJ can get Mitchell, then anything's possible right?
