No disrespect to Coach Mac, but I'm darn glad Coach Jones pulled of the biggest recruiting coup in UNT history. Johnny's been producing and Mitchell along with all the MEN on our team could really take UNT to a national level!!! Since I've been drinking some Kool-Aid today if not national, then really strong Mid Major!!! I like the sound of National better!! Bring on the Texas Longhorns!!!

OH, Coach Mac is putting together a great recruiting class for FB, but Johnny has blown the doors off the Buick!!! Let's hope Johnny & Co. can convince Tony Mitchell to say longer than a year at UNT before turning Pro!!!

So glad to hear what he had to say about this since my biggest fear is him being here just to attend classes and bounce. A year away is still a long time but if UNT grows on him like it did so many others we can expect him to suit up for at least spring and if we get truly lucky...tack on another year.

......i know unless he declares for the draft, but honestly i dont think he will be a top 10 pick this year... he hasnt played @ the college level yet... he needs to establish himself and then who knows? hes definitley got the talent to be a lottery pick !!!

.... and to the haters trying to say he will return to Mizzou or transfer... it clearly states he chose UNT over UTEP, meaning that he intends to play here unless he goes to the NBA Draft

William Cole didnt make it because he liked Drugs more then School...Mitchell doesn't to seem to have problems outside the classroom like will did. Will is the only one to be blamed on why he didn't succeed at UNT. its also the same reason he didnt make it at OSU.
