I think that's saying something about the job these coaches are doing. Their enthusiasm is getting the interest of some darn good players. Still so pumped about Swarn!

This is turning into a good class. Swarn has incredible ball skills at the safety position. Looking at tape of him, he will need to improve his tackling a great deal. He certainly has the ability to do so.

Completely agree TFLF. It would be even more impressive if some de-committed from those schools to play at UNT. Is there any update on Swarn's teammate Carrington? Would love to have the pair of them here!

Except for a 1 year coach and a unresearched hiring mistake with Bob Tyler, North Texas has had 1 other multi-year career head football coach in Mean Green Country with prior major college coaching expereience. We should have tried that hiring formula much sooner than we did but at least, we finally have and I think Coach McCarney coupled with our new football stadium is making some serious hay out there.

I think a full year of recruiting by this coaching staff after this one will bring even more success. Some of us wanteded UNT to hire Coach Fran, but upon further review, I think we made the best possible choice for our situation. It would be predictable that the new stadium would ultimately be a program-changer, too.

I'm almost amazed at what we've seen happen so far in recruiting and we all know the day of is always kind of an uncloaking in a lot of ways as well.

Definately seeing the momentum starting to build and more and more talent start to give is a serious look. Add in a winning season this year, and we've got the makings of something truly special going on around here.

I have to admit I wanted Coach Fran too, but now that we see what Coach Mac can do, I couldn't be happier. Even better for our situation than coach Fran would have been.
