Thanks to the Ath. Dept........this year's football banquet was pure d greatness.

And those of us that were there.....got to see Coach Mc work his magic. What a great, great motivator he is. He had the whole crowd fired up.

Congrats to all the players who made it special, as well.

Two more thoughts: Sounds like recruiting is going exceptionally well.....better than we even realize.

And.....they noted future football games during the highlight film....Air Force was on there.

+1, and it's great to hear this from you SUMG. You're not one to candy coat things, so it makes it special to hear this from you!

One thing is very evident: Coach Mac is Special! I agree with John, awesome event tonight. From Rick V. holding back tears due to his emotion to Coach Mac having everyone laughing and seeing his "enthuiastic sincerely". Someone (not school official) told me 32 or 36 recruits in attendence. They had to be impressed! I sure was.....

      I feel if we play as we did against Wyoming especially if we get some players back we should be at Tulsa by about 38 to 14. we just need to come out of the gate and shove the ball down their throat and don't let up. Go Mean Green beat Tulsa.

      I don’t think there will be reconsideration. The AAC has a good thing and can lure JMU and Air Force if desired. The ground got more solid the last 24. Good for us, because our hype train is pulling into the station this month and loading up! GMG

      Week 4 Bowl ESPN Projections

      I would love for us to get a team we had good chances against in a bowl game. I and many others have been to all bowls since we won the New Orleans bowl and have only seen 2wins although last bowl game we played in was close and we showed UNT can play with a lot of teams. We will end up 7 -5 or 8-4 and might get a decent bowl not in mid December. Go Mean Green keep up the 3-4 and win 9.

They are expected to be in contact with UNLV and the two programs may wind up making their decision together.
