"UNT's new staff has been around long enough now that one can tell where we might see the school try to make some inroads in recruiting.

The DISD appears to be at the top of the list. Lincoln cornerback Lloyd Carrington was in over the weekend. He's a highly sought after player with more than a dozen offers who will visit Houston this weekend. UNT may also be trying to get in on his teammate, safety Kerry Swarn.

I also heard Rowlett defensive end Daryl Mason might have been in on a visit over the weekend. UNT offered Rowlett's other defensive end Zach Wood, a higher rated player who decided to Pony Up and commit to SMU."

We'll, we've picked up nice recruit(s) at DT, OLB, CB and now Safety. We need a couple more DT's, a DE or two and Swarn's teammate Carrington and I'll be extremely pleased with the defensive side of the recruiting effort.
