Interesting list, but I would disagree with a lot of it. First, any big 10 lists of NT football would have to include Cedric Hardman and Steve Ramsey. Hardman was an all time sack leader and first round draft choice and Steve Ramsey had more NCAA records than any NT player before or after. J.T. Smith and Brian Waters were good not great college players, both were much better in the pros Cobbs was a top 10 player but not the third best all time I would have put both Walter Chapman and MItch Maher in my top ten.

Agree with your post, but I would argue that Cobbs, being our all-time leading rusher, plus his play on special teams is tough to ignore and not put #3.

Before you close out the list, don't forget John Love. I saw both he and Shanklin play, and I think the plays Love made were even more impressive than Shanklin. Love went to the NFL with Washington I think. He was drafted and did not make a come back. Even though he did not finish his rookie year, he still received votes for offensive rookie of the year.
