Very good game @ SGP tonight. Cedar Hill pulls it out at the end by 3. Trey Norris finished the night with 24 points (unofficial). Probably his best game of the season as he was on fire beyond the 3 point line. Excellent floor game as well. Norris left the game with a thumb injury at a critical time in the 4th. Cedar Hill's full court pressure finally got to the guards with Norris out. Norris was taped and came back in with about 2-3 minutes but after CH had erased a 7 point SGP lead. With Norris hitting from the outside and penetrating all evening, CH ended the game with 3 guys applying pressure on Norris trying to keep the ball out of his hands.

6-8 Jr Chris Washburn continues to impress down in the paint on the defensive end. Held KState's Thomas Gipson in check. Father Chris Sr was on hand coaching from the stands.

Norris seems to be much better than many antipated and you were very high on Chirs Jones. Who do you think is the NT point of the future?

Not much difference in ability. Jones is just a bigger and quicker point guard. More suited for the college game. I'm afraid that Norris may struggle on defense against bigger college guards. They are, however, more like 1A & 1B. I see both playing quite a bit and possible together at times. Jones is a more physical point guard where as Norris relies more on finesse. Both are nicely built for their size. I'd start Jones but wouldn't hesitate to bring Norris in. Both are great floor leaders and passers.

In Friday's games, Chris Jones scored 24 in Lakeview's blowout of Rowlett, and I guess Trey Norris still has thumb problems since he didn't play in SGP's blowout over GP. Jordan Williams & Co. are playing at SOC at 4:30 today in case anyone in interested in a Kimball/UNT doubleheader.
