Not Impressed With Lebryan Nash

Just watched Lincoln play Findlay Prep (NV). Nash got his, and make no mistake I'd do a cartwheel if he were coming to us, but I wasnt sold. He lloked to shoot every time he got the ball regardless of court position or double (sometimes triple) teams. He didnt appear to really be in the flow of his team's offense...rather he tried to BE his team's offense. On a team with Keaton Miles you'd think he'd differ to his "Robin" more often. I think the ESPNU cameras got to him. Overall just not a particularly mature player.

Co trast his play with Findlay Prep (who is also loaded with D1 talent) and its just not impressive.

Findlay Prep is a fake high school hoops team built for ESPNU type games and I would take little stock in how he did.

Sounds like a typical h.s. basketball star to me. I'm sure most of the players that play in NCAA were ballhogs and one dimensional in high school. That's for college coaches to work on when they get to campus.

I know Cliff Findlay well, Findlay Preps founder, and its far from a fake school. Those kids attend a very reputable private in Henderson, NV. The International school is a far better school than say Lincoln or Kimball, not even close. The school is modeled after the New England prep league schools, which is the best league in America, by far. Simply, Nash is a beast that doesn't play D if he's not dominating on O. He's immature but an exceptional talent when focused. The reason he doesn't defer to Keaton is b/c Keaton is a shrinking violet. There is no way he lasts all 4 years in Morgantown, none. Schools like UNT & SMU should get in his head about transferring now, cause the Big East is going to eat him.

Tech would clearly be his first choice. But then again, we don't know who the coach will be! The clock has to be ticking on Knight.
