I was wondering if it would be best to move "Hemi" to DT permanently. He was a heck of a HS DT and was a three star, all-state prospect out of Celina. Someone saw some talent in Troy to give him three stars, and I just have a hard time believing he was a bust.

He appears to be buried on the depth chart at OT and could, with his sole focus being on the position, be a DT in the mold of Evan Cardwell in my mind. Any thoughts on this?

This maybe a move out of necessity since it appears Wright chose ASU over indoor plumbing and North Texas.

Franklin was supposedly recruited as an ol, but was used as a dt his freshman year with little success. Not sure he has the quickness needed for the DL. Certainly, would not hurt to try him; but odds are if he could play dl, with NT's usual shortage of defensive tackles, he would have remained there. He was in essence switched from a thin position at dt to one with much better depth; not a good sign.
