Interesting that they are in Columbus, Ohio when TCU beat Wisconsin in the Rose Bowl, but i do "get" the jab at the OSU prez. I wonder how long they would be up if they were in Wisconsin? Might not last long in Columbus either, but this is PRICELESS! Really something that someone has that much cash that can be used this way...where is that guy when UNT needs a "sugar daddy"????

To me, it would be poor sportsmanship if they placed these in Madison. But in Columbus--Brilliant!

Some TCU graduate(s) had the disposable income to pay for 20 billboards in the Columbus Ohio area?!?!?

The article states that they are digital billboards. Meaning there is virtually no cost to create them and you could rent them for a very short time frame. The cost is much lower than a traditional billboard. Money well spent since more people will see them on ESPN.com then in Ohio.

Assumption it is a TCU fan that paid for the boards, and the odds are that may be right; but it could be anyone opposed to the BCS.

The article does say that Clear Channel said the ad was paid for by TCU interests outside of Ohio. That seems a little more specific than BCS opposers.
