Here is the finalized spring soccer schedule. The main change is that the trip to TAMU was canceled and replaced by a local game at Pizza Hut Park verse TCU. I've been told they are negotiating to have the game played on the stadium field. This is a great spring line-up!

Both the TCU game and LSU/Rice games are scheduled around premier youth tournaments. The Houston games are part of the Presidents Day Tournament hosted by Houston Challenge Soccer Club. On the 19th is the College Showcase. participating teams include: Baylor University,Houston Baptist University, Lamar University, LSU, University of North Texas, Oklahoma State University, Rice University, SFA, Sam Houston State University, Texas Tech University, University of Houston, UT Brownsville.

The TCU game is in conjunction with the College Showcase tournament hosted by FC Dallas (youth club). Both of these spring games will allow talented youth players a venue to watch Mean Green soccer on the pitch.

OK, nice line-up but ZERO games at home in Denton. The only "home game" is in Frisco! I'll try to make some of these, but I would have enjoyed at least one actual home game. Again, great line-up.

Spring Soccer starts this Saturday in Houston vs. Rice and LSU....Really looking foward to see how the girls match up agains LSU! Hope to see some of you in Houston on Saturday...Go Mean Green

GO MEAN GREEN...Too bad the UNT faithful don't get a home game. But, Frisco is close and I am planning on making that game as I will be working the FC Dallas Showcase for the US Merchant marine Academy's men's soccer program. May be able to make the game in Norman as well. Hope so. GO MEAN GREEN! Excellent line-up for spring for the ladies and should give Coach Hedlund a good idea of what he has to work with for the fall and where he needs to concentrate training efforts. I expect good things from this squad. GO NORTH TEXAS!!!!!!
