I have found the proper way to start these is not to mention the score...just to turn the game on. Seems whenever someone mentions an upset brewing - things go south fast.

For the record, I was in no way implying I was expecting an upset, just reporting that they played a good half of basketball. It would not surprise me at all if we still lost by 30...but Go Mean Green!

Actually 30 points would be close based on SS's record against the Muts. I hope for an upset not only for NT but their coach is one of the biggest a$$es around.

Per Vitto's blog.

....In one of the weirder scenes I have ever seen at a Sun Belt game, UNT head coach Shanice Stephens sprinted up the tunnel toward the officials dressing room after the Mean Green's loss to the Blue Raiders.

Several of UNT's players sprinted after her. For the rest of the story click below:

I was not there, but someone who was said that there two instances after the game and that either security or police directed or guided Ms Stephens towards her lockerroom after the second...fwiw...

This has to be her last year...I know it's just womens basketball, and we just spent a ton of money on the football program, but there is not way they can let this program slip even deeper into the abyss. I'm definitely still rooting for them, but turning things around at this point would be close to reaching miracle status.

This incident (depending on what actually happened) might provide enough misconduct to terminate her for cause and not have to buy out her contract. That would make it affordable to get a new WBB coach.
