You guys are too kind. It's great to be talking with some die hard fans. I am a little disappointed though...I have read the board for a little over a year know and I just knew with my "footballmommy" title, you guys would pound on me a little bit. And I can take it if you do. haha I decided to sign up this year so I can respond to some of the topics. I love to talk football and sometimes talk smack about it. I graduated from an SEC school in another state so I am loving the mean green nation and enjoying UNT football. I have adopted you guys as "my" team since moving to Texas and living in the Denton area. I am looking forward to the new stadium, the new coaches and a team with a renewed spirit, as well as reading the gomeangreen topics. 2011 is going to be an exciting year!

Welcome aboard! I'm impressed with your knowledge and am glad that you joined up with us. GMG!

Leppo again?

Tomlinson LT - Johnson LG - Y'Baro C - Fortenberry RG - Feeley RT or some variation of these guys.

Maybe they recruit a very good O-Lineman from a JC, but that rarely works out. Maybe Franklin and Bean step up, but hard to say if that'll happen. I don't see either Leppo or Adedipe starting unless they improve a good bit.

No problem and welcome to the GMG Board....I agree that the O Line will once again be deep.

The offensive potential of this team is exciting. The only piece missing is the biggest piece. Fingers crossed.

Let's hope all our options end up healthy enough to play. It is hard to underestimate how important the center position is. Seem to remember we lost a game in part to a snap over the head of the QB.

Seems like if this staff evaluates the talent there the same, then JJ starts and then Leppo, Fortenberry, and Y'arbo battle it out for the backup spot. Perhaps one of Y'arbo or Fortenberry also play guard. Likely that they would not just sit on the bench. Either way, that is four nice options at the center position.

2 things....the snap didn't lose the game, it didn't help, I agree. Defense can't give up 3rd downs :thumbsd: And maybe, just maybe a 6'4" quarterback would be beneficial in more than one way. (catch those high snaps)

I agree that the players have GOT to stay healthy. Last year was wild with the injury bug....never saw anything like it!!!!! How do you keep your big lineman healthy? Is it staying in the weight room?
